When I see a runway show, I immediately start thinking, which outfit I'd want, which my mom would want, which whoever would want...
So I share this experience with you, starting with a few collections I managed to go through today. All of them are from New York Fashion Week, Spring 2011.
Here are my picks for my own dream-closet:
First is Marc by Marc Jacobs, which was a total cuteness with 70's flare.
I loved the orange, the hair and the make-up (also with orange lipstick)
At Max Azria every piece was pure and subtle, with a flowy and dreamy feeling all in pale colors.
Monique Lhuillier created (no surprise here) elegant outfits and magical gowns for THE WOMAN.

Pink at the Grammys
I know it wasn't yesterday, it's "old news", I just thought I'd share my enthusiasm with you. It's certainly one of the most breathtaking performances I ever saw in my life, I just wish I could've been there...
The whole concept, the production, the coreography (by Dreya Weber) and of course the voice of Pink that gives me goosebumps every single time. It's from her Funhouse tour, where she does incredible aerialist stuff.
In case you missed it, here's the link to the video, youtube doesn't let me share it.

My new favorite coats
I like detailed, sometimes architectural clothes, and that is why I absolutely adore these coats.

Inspiration Audrey
Who doesn't like the charming, feminine and playful style of Audrey Hepburn? That's the kind of style that never goes out of fashion :)
She was the living example of her own famous saying: "I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls."
So I collected some items that reflect her style, and are still affordable. The coats and shoes cost under 100 $, everything else is under 50 $, and you can mix and match them however you want.

Long long skirts
Just to stick with those long skirts... Let's see some inspiration, cause let's be honest it's not easy to wear them properly. They can look messy or matronly, so here are a few examples how to avoid these traps:

And finally here's the proof that there shouldn't be such ideas like "fashionable" or "outdated", if you look good and feel good in your clothes then you can wear whatever you want, no matter what era.

A true artist - Susumu Yokota
My boyfriend showed me the music of Susumu Yokota and since then I just can't get enough of it. Such beautiful, magical, weird sounds.

An outfit for you - from day to night
For a casual outfit I chose a straight-leg jeans with a pretty top which I think is appropriate for the office. I paired them with some comfy but stylish loafers, so you can run around the whole day without going crazy. For the night just put on heels and some crazy earrings, add some sequins and you're ready to go :)
